Switch ignition off.

If specifications are not obtained:

Check wire connections for open circuit according to wiring diagram: 

‹› Specification: Wire resistance max 1.5 ohms

If necessary, repair wire connection.

Final procedures

After repair work, the following work steps must be performed in the mentioned sequence:

Check DTC memory => " "Mode 3: Check DTC memory", page.

If necessary, erase DTC memory => " Mode 4: Reset/erase diagnostic data", => [ Diagnostic Mode 04 - Erase DTC Memory ] See: Powertrain

If DTC memory was erased, generate readiness code => [ Readiness Code, Generating ] See: Powertrain Management/Computers and Control
Systems/Testing and Inspection/Monitors, Trips, Drive Cycles and Readiness Codes.

End diagnosis and switch ignition off.
