Locking Mechanisms, Removing And Installing

Locking mechanism
Removing
-

Remove mounting nut -2-.

-

Warm bolts -3- (2x) using a hot air gun.

Remove bolts -3- (2x) from both sides simultaneously.

-

Disengage locking mechanism -1-.

Installing
-

When engaging locking mechanism -1-, be sure that end of spring -4- is engaged behind crossbar -5- and metal guide -6- is engaged in
bracket -7-.

-

Secure bolts -3- using D00600A2 locking compound.

-

Rest of installation is the reverse of removal.

Mounting nuts

Bolts, glued
-

Tightening torque: 20 Nm (15 ft lb)

Secured with D00600A2 locking compound.
