Connect Vehicle Diagnostic, Test and Information System VAS 5051 with adapter cable VAS 5051/1. Or connect V.A.G 1551 Scan Tool with
adapter cable VAG 1551/3 to Data Link Connector (DLC) under knee bar under steering wheel.

Start engine.

Indicated on display:
-

Enter "08" for function "Reading measuring value block" and confirm input by pressing "Q" button.

Indicated on display:

Enter "004" for display group "004" and confirm input by pressing "Q"button.

Indicated on display

Read ATF temperature in display field 1.

ATF level, checking and correcting

The ATF level is checked at the ATF control plug.

The ATF level is correct when a little ATF runs out at a temperature between 30°C (86°F) and 45°C (113°F) (For tropical climates 50°C (122°F)
caused by the raising of the level when warm.
