Install drain plug -1- and tighten to - 12 Nm (9 ft lb).

-

Remove ATF test plug -2-.

-

Hang filling hook of VAG 1924 into test plug opening, item -2-.

-

Fill with V.A.G 1924-arrow- until ATF starts draining from test plug hole.

-

Move shift lever to "P".

-

Start engine.

-

While stepping on brake pedal and engine idling, select all transmission ranges, keeping lever in each range for 10 seconds.

-

Move shift lever to "P".

-

Check ATF level and top up.

Note:

Be sure to follow all instructions concerning ATF level and checking and adding ATF.
