When pressing in, pressure piece -VW511- must rest only against bearing inner race.

Installing 

-

Tightening torque of spherical cap bolts -1, 80 Nm + turn another 90°.

-

Push outer joint of drive axle into wheel hub and hand-tighten new hex bolt.

Note:  Remove any glue remaining on thread of joint bolt.

Insert both joint bolts of top control arm into wheel bearing housing.

-

Tighten new self-locking nuts -1- to 40 Nm.

-

Press upper control arm down as far as possible when tightening!

Install ABS wheel speed sensor

Mount brake disc, screw on brake caliper, and tighten to 190 Nm (M14 x 1.5 x 38).

Mount wheel and tighten to 120 Nm.

-

Tighten hex bolt for drive axle.

Tightening Torques:

Hex bolt M14: 115 Nm + turn another 180°.
