2. T40033/8 Support ring
3. T40033/3 Tubular section
4. T40033/4 Mount
5. E-5 Thrust pad
6. 40-21 Fitting sleeve
7. -HKZ-15 Hollow piston cylinder
8. VAS 6034 Nut
9. VAS 6031 Spindle
10. Subframe

Pre-tension special tools.

Use actuating pump to extract bonded rubber bushing.
Note: When extracting bonded rubber bushings with special tool V.A.G 1459 B replace with correct bushing.
Installing front/rear hydro-bushing
Front and rear bonded rubber bushings are not identical. Pay attention to correct bushing on installation. See Parts Supplier.
Bonded rubber bushings must be installed correctly with respect to direction. Arrows on aluminium shim must face to rear in direction of travel and
mark on subframe must be aligned with semicircular recess at bushing.
Insert special tools with bonded rubber bushing in subframe as shown.

4. E-5 Thrust pad
5. 40-21 Fitting sleeve
6. HKZ-15 Hollow piston cylinder
7. VAS 6034 Nut
8. VAS 6031 Spindle
9. Subframe

Pre-tension special tools.

Check whether bonded rubber bushing makes even contact. Correct installation position again if necessary.

Guide tools and bonded rubber bushing during installation.
^
Fully insert bonded rubber bushing by actuating pump.
