Removing and Installing Glued Backrest Heating Element (Solid Backrest)
Removing And Installing Glued Backrest Heating Element (Solid Backrest)

Glued-in backrest heating element up to VIN 4BW 092 308 for leather or 4BW 101414 for imitation leather /fabric.

Remove seat bench.

Remove fixed backrest.

Remove backrest cover fabric on side where heating element is to be replaced.

Cut electrical wire off old heating element - 1 -.

Glue new heating element onto old one (avoid creasing).

Insert heating element into folds at locations marked - A -.

Insert wire - 2 - into slot - B - provided.
