Remove seal.

-

Use 3409 wedge for this.

Note: When removing, make sure that surface of cylinder is not damaged.

Installing 
-

Use only appropriate solvent to clean surfaces of piston and protective seal, then dry.

Apply thin coat of brake cylinder paste G 052 150 A2 to piston and protective seal before installing.

-

Using 3409 wedge, insert inner sealing ring into cylinder groove.

-

Press in protective cap using special tools -1- and -2-.

Item -1- assembly tool for protective caps T101 46/1

-

Item -2- piston resetting tool T10145

Note: Use protective covers.

-

Press protective cap onto caliper housing so that it makes contact all round.

-

Pulling protective cap away from caliper housing by hand should no longer be possible.

-

Thinly coat piston and sealing ring with assembly paste G 052 150 A2 before inserting.
