Front coolant pipe, removing and installing

Special tools and equipment

Drip tray VAG 1306

Removing

-

Drain off coolant.

-

Move lock carrier to service position; Refer to Body and Frame; Radiator Support, Service and Repair See: Body and Frame/Lock Carrier/Service
and Repair/Procedures

-

Remove bolts (arrows) and detach torque reaction support from engine.

-

Position drip tray V.A.G 1306 beneath engine.

-

Remove coolant pipe (arrows) at front of engine.

Installing

Install in reverse order, paying attention to the following:

Note:

Replace sealing rings and O-rings.

Secure aft hose connections with standard hose clamps; Refer to Part Supplier

Install lock carrier with attachments.
