Remove coolant hose to heating system heat exchanger at coolant pipe on back of engine.

Disconnect coolant hose from Y-piece (arrow).

Disconnect connector (arrow) for Camshaft Position (CMP) sensor 2 G163- at left cylinder head.
Note: The following illustrations show view from rear with engine removed.

Disconnect connector (arrow) for Camshaft Position (CMP) Sensor G40- at right cylinder head.
