Disconnect connector -2- at Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) Sensor -G2-/-G62-. 

-

Remove nut -1- and detach wiring harness at rear coolant pipe.

Unfasten hose clamp -1- using VAS 5024 A. 

-

Unfasten hose clamp -6- using VAS 5024 A and detach coolant hose. 

-

Remove bolts -2- to -5-. 

-

Remove rear coolant pipe.

Installing

Install in reverse order, paying attention to the following:

Replace O-rings.

Re-attach aft cable ties at same location on installation.

Secure all hose connections with standard hose damps; Refer to Part Supplier

Clean/smooth sealing surfaces for O-rings before installing.

-

Coat new O-rings with acid-free grease (Vaseline), install rear coolant pipe in position and screw on.

-

Install right coolant pipe.

-

Fill with coolant.
