Camshaft: Specifications

Bearing cap to cylinder head .......................................................................................................................................................................  5 Nm + 90° 1) 2)

1) 90° corresponds to a quarter turn
2) Replace bolts

Refer to Service procedure for torque sequence.

Intake Camshaft

Check radial clearance with Plastigage (roller-type rocker finger removed) 

Wear limit  .......................................................................................................................................................................................................  0.1 mm
Run-out max.  .................................................................................................................................................................................................  0.01 mm

Exhaust camshaft

Check radial clearance with Plastigage (roller-type rocker finger removed)

Wear limit  ......................................................................................................................................................................................................  0.1 mm 
Run-out max.  .................................................................................................................................................................................................  0.01 mm
