Universal dial gauge holder VW 387

Camshafts removed

^

Roller-type rocker fingers removed; Refer to Rocker Arm, Service and Repair

Insert camshafts in cylinder head and screw to outer bearing caps (arrows).

-

Attach universal dial gauge holder VW 387 with dial gauge to cylinder head.

Wear limit for intake and exhaust camshaft

Axial clearance: Max. 0.20 mm
