Engine Mount: Service and Repair

Left/right electro-hydraulic engine mount solenoid valve -N144- and -N145-, checking

VAS 5051 with VAS 5051/1

Work sequence

-

Connect vehicle diagnostic, testing and information system VAS 5051 and select vehicle system "01- Engine electronics" from list. Ignition must
be on.

Indicated on VAS 5051:
-

From list -1- select diagnostic function "03- Final control diagnosis".

-

Lightly touch the > key, until the valve is activated the right electrohydraulic engine mount solenoid valve  -N145.
^

Right electro/hydraulic engine mounting solenoid valve -N145 is actuated intermittently (clicks) for approximately 1.

-

Lightly touch the 001, key, until the valve is activated the left electrohydraulic engine mount solenoid valve -N144-.
^

Left electro/hydraulic engine mounting solenoid valve -N144- is actuated intermittently (clicks) for approximately 1 minute..

-

Terminate function "03- Final control diagnosis" by touching < key.

-

Switch off ignition.
