Crankshaft Oil Seal on Timing Chain End, Replacing

Crankshaft oil seal on timing chain end, replacing

Special tools and equipment

^

Fitting tools T1 0122/2 and T1 0122/3

^

Special tool T20143/2

Removing

-

Remove engine

-

Separate engine/gearbox assembly.

-

Place engine on workbench or a firm surface and secure in position with wooden blocks.

Attention:  
^

Engine must be secured to avoid risk of accident.

^

Do not set down engine on oil pan.

-

Remove drive plate.

-

Detach shim (arrow) from crankshaft.
