Timing Chain: Service and Repair

Drive chain for timing mechanism, removing and installing
Removing
-
Remove camshaft timing chains.

Remove PTO chain.

Detach guide rail -1- at left cylinder head.

Unscrew chain tensioner -2-.

Detach guide rail -1- at right cylinder head.

Unscrew chain tensioner -2-.

Press tensioner guide rail for drive chain in direction of (arrow) and set chain tensioner with 3.3 mm diameter drill bit item -4-.

Make color mark to indicate direction of timing chain.

Screw out bolts -2- and -3- and detach sprockets with drive chain and guide rail -1-.
Installing
Install in reverse order, note the following:
Note: Replace bolts lightened by turning through a specified angle.

Install PTO chain.
-
Install camshaft timing chains.
