Right Exhaust Manifold, Removing and Installing

Right exhaust manifold, removing and installing

Removing

Note:  All cable ties unfastened or cut open on removal are to be re-attached in same position on installation.

Remove engine.

-

Set down engine/transmissions assembly on workbench or trolley and secure in position with wooden blocks.

WARNING:

Engine transmissions assembly must be secure to avoid risk of accident.

Never set down engine and transmission on sump or oil pan.

Disconnect connectors -1- and -2- for Heated Oxygen Sensor (H02S). 

-

Move wires clear.

Note:  Illustration shows connectors in installation position.

Remove bolt (arrow) at lug for right front exhaust pipe.

-

Remove front exhaust pipe nuts -1- to -3- from right exhaust manifold.
