Cylinder bank 2 (left):

-

Remove bolts (arrows) and coolant expansion tank -2-.

-

Disconnect wire to Engine Coolant Level (ECL) warning switch -F66- and move aside coolant expansion tank with coolant hoses -1- and
-3connected.

-

Disconnect connector -4- to Valve -2- for camshaft adjustment -N208-.

Both sides (continued):
Checking internal resistance

-

Connect multimeter to valve for resistance measurement.

Specification: 8 to 13 Ohms

If reading does not match specification:
-

Replace valve.

If specified value is reached:
Checking power supply
Test requirements:

Fuse for camshaft adjustment solenoid valves OK
Refer to Wiring Diagrams

Fuel pump relay OK

Note:  Camshaft adjustment solenoid valves are supplied with power by way of fuel pump relay.
