After removal, always fold side curtain airbag unit - 1 - and grasp by igniter (thumbs toward E-connection).

Always keep one hand on plastic housing

Never twist, wind, bend, throw, spin, pull, hang, squeeze, press, pinch or clamp side curtain airbag unit.

If any contamination penetrates into the fabric, like oil, grease, lacquer, paint or solvent, the module must always be replaced.
