Front Steering Knuckle: Service and Repair
Wheel Bearing Housing (Aluminum), Removing and Installing
Wheel bearing housing (aluminum), removing and installing
Removing

Remove hubcap, for light-alloy wheels pull off center cap (use pulling hook in vehicle tools).
^
Unscrew hex bolt for drive axle
^
Remove wheel.
^
Thread in all five wheel bolts again.
^
Remove bolt -1- for ABS- wheel speed sensor.
^
Unscrew hex bolt -2-.
^
Pull cable of ABS wheel speed sensor out of bracket on wheel bearing housing.

Unscrew bolts -1- from brake caliper and remove brake caliper.
^
Tighten hex bolt -2-
^
Secure brake caliper to body using wire.
Note: Do not allow brake caliper to hang on brake hose.

Remove brake disc.
^
Remove nuts -2- and -3-.
