Unscrew bolt-2- for control arm -1-.

Pull wheel bearing housing off drive axle.

Installing

Installation is the reverse of removal.
^

Bonded rubber bushings can only be turned to a limited extent. The bolted connections should therefore only be tightened when the vehicle is
standing on the ground.

Otherwise, the rubber bushing will be stressed and have a shortened service life.

Observe notes when installing drive axle

Tightening torques:

Drive axle to wheel hub

Use new bolt!

Tie rod to wheel bearing housing ................................................................................................................................................................................  95 Nm
Control arm to wheel bearing housing ...............................................................................................................................................................  70 Nm + 90°

Wheel bearing housing to lower control arm ..............................................................................................................................................................  95 Nm

Coupling rod to wheel bearing housing .......................................................................................................................................................................  55 Nm

Backing plate to control arm .......................................................................................................................................................................................  10 Nm

Brake caliper to wheel bearing housing ......................................................................................................................................................................  95 Nm

Shock absorber to control arm ...........................................................................................................................................................................  70 Nm + 90°

Always use new bolts.
After installation, position of steering wheel must be checked with a road test.
If steering wheel is crooked, an axle alignment must be performed!
