Undamaged Side Window, Installing

When reusing an undamaged window, cut back the remaining adhesive sealing material on the window and flange (so that it is even) shortly before
installation, using a carpet knife, but do not remove it completely.
The remaining material is required as a base for better adhesion of the new adhesive sealing material to be applied.
Keep adhesive surface clean and grease-free.

CAUTION:  Do not prime or use cleaning agent on the adhesive surface.

Apply adhesive bead to remaining adhesive material.

Adhesive bead height = 12 mm +3/-0 mm (0.472 in. +0.118/-0 in.)

Adhesive bead width = 8 mm ± 2 mm (0.315 in. ± 0.078 in.)

NOTE:  It is recommended to use adhesive sealing material DH 009 100 03 (small cartridge) for bonding on a single window or D 009 300 05 (2K
adhesive) for more than one window.
