Shift Interlock Solenoid: Testing and Inspection
Checking Clearence
CHECKING CLEARANCE BETWEEN SELECTOR LEVER AND SHIFT LOCK SOLENOID

Selector lever in "R" position

The gap between the selector lever and the shift lock solenoid must be 0.6-1.4 mm with lever in "R" position.
Measure as shown using feeler gauge -A-.
Specification: 0.6-1.4 mm (0.024-0.055 inch)

The clearance can be adjusted by moving the solenoid in the mounting holes.
