RPM signal, checking
-

connect US 1119 between contact 4 and ground

-

start engine and let idle

-

measure voltage

^

1.5 V -12.0 V depending on RPM

If specified values are not obtained, - repair break in wiring according to wiring diagram

If specified values are still not obtained, - replace instrument cluster

FUEL MILEAGE SENDER (AIR FLOW SENSOR POTENTIOMETER)

Fuel mileage sender, checking (air flow sensor potentiometer)

Note

If mileage reading is too high or too low, the display can be corrected with the adjustment screw on the instrument cluster, pg 16.

AIR FLOW SENSOR POTENTIOMETER

Work sequence
-

connect US 1119 between contacts 10 and 28 of 35-point connector

-

switch ignition ON

-

measure voltage

^

7.0 -8.0 V

If specified voltage is not obtained, - repair break in wiring according to wiring diagram OR
-

adjust fuel mileage sender (air flow sensor potentiometer)
