Roof Grab Handle, Removing And Installing

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

Special hook 3370

Removing

-

Open roof grab handle cover - 1 - with Special Hook 3370.

-

Remove bolts - 2 - and - 3 -.

-

Remove roof grab handle.

Installing

Installation is reverse of removal. Observe the following when doing so:

Rear roof grab handle is equipped with a coat hook.

NOTE:

-

Threaded holes for roof grab handle must be cleaned of locking compound residue after removal. Otherwise, new screws could lock up when
installed and shear off when removed again.

They can be cleaned with a thread cutter.

-

Replace roof grab handle screws (self-locking).
