1. If the fuel door will not open, operate the release button while a second person presses and pulls the fuel door.

2. Shorten the centering pin by 7mm.

3. If the fuel door will not close, replace the fuel door positioning motor and rod assembly with the improved version 4L0 810 773D. Lubricate the rod
pin with lubricant G 000 450 02. (See Figure 2.)

4. Make certain that the emergency release cable is correctly routed and doesn't interfere with normal operation.
