‹› If spacer is not installed, rear lid hinges can bend and lid is no longer in correct installation position

‹› 21 Nm

Lid hinge, disconnecting

‹› When removing and installing lid (e.g. when changing seal), do not remove lid from hinge.

‹› Place a cover at back of roof to avoid paint damage. 

‹› Disconnect both hinges as described in the following.

‹› Place lid with upper edge on cover.

‹› When installing, lid is secured with mounting pins - arrow - and therefore must not be adjusted.

Remove electrical wiring from lid or from body.

Remove nut - 2 - on lid hinge.

-

Remove lid with lid-side hinge part.

-

When installing, tighten nut to 24 Nm.
