Removing

CAUTION!
Follow the safety precautions for pyrotechnic components. Refer to => [ Restraint System Components, Checking ] See: Restraint

Remove the 2nd row bench seat. Refer to => [ 2nd Row Assembly Overview, 3-Seater ] See: Seats/Description and Operation/2nd Seat Row,
3-Seater.

Remove rear floor covering - 3 -. Refer to => [ Floor Covering Component Overview ] See: Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Rear
Floor Covering.

Remove the bolts - 1 -.

Remove mounting piece - 2 -.

Installation

CAUTION!

Systems/Air Bag Systems/Testing and Inspection.

‹› Bolts are micro-encapsulated and must be replaced after each loosening. 

‹› Before installing the new bolts, the threads of the corresponding nuts must be cleaned.

To install, perform the steps used in removal in reverse order.
