Remove right cylinder head cover bolts in sequence - 16 to 1 -.

Remove cylinder head cover.

Installing

‹› Tightening specifications, refer to => [ Right Cylinder Head Cover, Tightening Specifications

and Sequence ] See: Service and Repair/Cylinder Head Assembly Overview.

Installation is in reverse order of removal, note the following:

‹› Replace cylinder head cover gaskets if damaged.

‹› Replace bolts for cylinder head cover if gasket is damaged.

‹› Secure all hose connections with hose clamps appropriate for the model.

Clean the sealing surfaces, they must be free of oil and grease.

Tighten cylinder head cover bolts. Refer to => [ Right Cylinder Head Cover, Tightening Specifications
