‹›  The measured value of Air Quality Sensor (G238) is displayed in measuring value block of front A/C control head Climatronic Control Module

(J255) (display group " 023"). The square wave signal cannot be evaluated using workshop equipment.

Installing

Installation is the reverse of removal, noting the following:

‹› The Sensor for air quality (G238) contains a highly sensitive electronic component which can be damaged if it comes in direct contact with

solvents, fuels or chemicals. Therefore do not install sensors that were previously stored e.g. in tool boxes.
