Driver/Vehicle Information Display: Service and Repair
Front Information Display Control Head
Front Information Display Control Head
Together with the instrument cluster, the display is secured from behind to the "instrument cluster panel".

Switch off all electrical consumers.

Remove ignition key.
Removing
-
Remove instrument cluster panel.

Disengage connector cover - 2 - by pressing latch - 1 - in direction of - arrow A -.
-
Swing connector cover - 2 - upward in direction of - arrow B - and disconnect harness connector.

Unscrew bolts - arrows - (2 Nm) and remove display.
Installing
-
Install in reverse order of removal.

Make sure connector cover is audibly engaged.
