‹› Is inserted in retaining ring - 2 - and engaged by turning 15 degrees clockwise (bayonet connection)

‹› Checking transfer Fuel Pump (FP) (G6) electrically => [ Fuel Pump, Electrical Checking ] See: Powertrain Management/Computers and

Control Systems/Testing and Inspection/Component Tests and General Diagnostics/Fuel Pump, Electrical Checking.

‹› Removing and installing => [ Fuel Delivery Unit ] See: Powertrain Management/Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Fuel Pump/Service and

Repair/Fuel Delivery Unit.

Right locking flange

‹› With fuel pressure regulator and gravity valve

‹› Installed location => [ Install new locking flange seal dry. ] See: Powertrain Management/Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Fuel Pump/Service

and Repair/Fuel Delivery Unit.

Seal

‹› Replace

‹› Install dry

Locking ring

‹› Use wrench (T10202) for removal and installation 

‹› Tighten to 110 Nm

Electrical harness connector

‹› For transfer fuel pump (G6) and fuel level sensor 1 (G)

Vent line

‹› Only on Rest of World (RDW) vehicles

‹› To disconnect, press release button on connection piece

Fuel supply line

‹› To engine

‹› To disconnect, press release button on connection piece

‹› Clipped in on fuel tank

Electrical harness connector

‹› For fuel level sensor 2 (G169)

Vent line

‹› To disconnect, press release button on connection piece

Locking ring

‹› Use wrench (T10202) for removal and installation 

‹› Tighten to 110 Nm

Seal

‹› Replace

‹› Install dry
