Fluid Filter - A/T: Service and Repair

ATF Strainer

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

‹› Torque Wrench (V.A.G 1410)

‹› 3 threaded studs M6 x 70 (self-fabrication)

Removing

-

Remove oil pan. Refer to => [ Oil Pan ] See: Transmission and Drivetrain/Automatic Transmission/Transaxle/Fluid Pan/Service and Repair.

Remove bolts - arrows -.

-

Pull off oil strainer.

Installing

-

Push new gasket - 1 - onto the intake flange of the oil strainer - arrow - and wet with ATF.

The threaded studs M6 x 70 - arrows - are needed to guide the oil strainer.
