Remove passenger side airbag unit. Refer to => [ Passenger Airbag Unit ].

Remove nuts - arrows -.

-

Disengage bracket - 1 - and - 2 - at airbag unit guide and remove bracket from instrument panel central tube.

Installation

Installation is in reverse order of removal, noting the following:

Install passenger side airbag unit. Refer to => [ Passenger Airbag Unit ].

Front Passenger Airbag Disabled Indicator Lamp

Removing

-

Remove center instrument panel vent. Refer to => [ Center Instrument Panel Vent ] See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Dashboard /
Instrument Panel/Service and Repair.

Slide switch strip - 1 - out of decorative trim with instrument panel vent - arrow -.

‹› If Front Passenger's Airbag Disabled Indicator Lamp (K145) LED is faulty switch strip in center instrument panel vent must be completely

replaced.
