Airbag connector, disconnecting
CAUTION!
Follow the safety precautions for pyrotechnic components. Refer to => [ Restraint System Components, Checking ] See: Testing and
Inspection.

Tip seat with console back.

Switch the ignition on.

Disconnect the battery ground cable with the ignition switched on.
CAUTION!
Before handling any airbag units (for example, when disconnecting the connector), the person handling them must "discharge static
electricity ". For example, by briefly touching the door striker pin.

Release airbag connector (yellow) - 2 - and pull out.

Connect Airbag Adapter (VAS 6235) or (VAS 6280) - 4 - to airbag connector - 2 -.
