Removing

CAUTION!
The replacement part (service kit) for the seat occupied recognition system is already pre-calibrated and must not be separated under any
circumstances. The service kit consists of:

‹› Seat Occupied Recognition Control Module (J706)

‹› Seat Occupied Recognition Pressure Sensor (G452)

‹› Passive Occupant Detection System Mat

‹› Seat cushion

‹› Wiring harness

CAUTION!
Follow the safety precautions for pyrotechnic components. Refer to=> [ Restraint System Components, Checking ] See: Testing and
Inspection.

Move passenger seat all the way up.

Remove passenger seat. Refer to => [ Front Passenger Seat Overview ] See: Body and Frame/Seats/Service and Repair/Removal and
Replacement/Power Front Memory Seats

Remove seat pan cover and padding:
