If measured value is 0 ohm there is a short circuit. If measured value is Infinity ohms there is and open circuit in the wiring.

To check resistance values "tank full" or "tank empty", the fuel level sensor 1 G must removed and the floater of the sensor must be placed in inner
or lower end position.

With fuel level sensor 1 G removed, the following values are obtained because of the greater deflection of the floater arm:

Fuel level sensor 1 G removed:

-

Sensor at lower stop: approximately 990 ohms.

Sensor at upper stop: approximately 51 ohms.

Assembly is in reverse order of removal, note the following:

-

Install locking flange cover.

-

Install tank access carpet frame in floor covering.

-

Install right seat frame in 2nd row.
