Removing

Position selector lever in "N" position.

-

Switch off ignition and remove ignition key.

-

Unclip mounting frame for selector lever boot - 1 - from center console and lift it upward - arrows -.

-

Fold selector lever boot upward.

-

Release retaining spring - 2 - and remove Selector Lever Transmission Range (TR) Position Display Y26 - item 1 - upward.

-

Unplug connector.

Vehicles without CD changer in center console storage compartment:

Using a screwdriver - 2 -, pry center console storage compartment - 1 - out in - direction of arrow -.
