Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

‹› Torque Wrench (V.A.G 1783)

Removing

-

Place vehicle on hoist. Refer to => [ Positioning Vehicle on Hoist and Wheels ] See: Steering and Suspension/Suspension/Service and
Repair/Procedures/Positioning Vehicle on Hoist and Wheels.

Remove wheel.

-

Remove wheel housing liner.

-

Unplug connector - 1 -.

-

Remove bolt - 2 - and body acceleration sensor -  3 -.

Installing

Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal. Observe the following when doing so:

-

Install body acceleration sensor bolt - 2 - and tighten to 8 Nm.
