Insert (T10149) into (V.A.G 1383 A) and press wheel bearing housing far enough upward until control position, dimension - a -, is obtained.

Control position

‹› Dimension - a - for vehicles with air suspension 449 mm

CAUTION!
‹› Do not lift or lower vehicle with engine/transmission jack below vehicle. 

‹› Do not leave engine/transmission jack under the vehicle longer than necessary.

Working after adjusting control position

-

Tighten respective bolts/nuts.

-

Lower wheel bearing housing.

-

Remove (V.A.G 1383 A) under vehicle.

-

Remove (T10149).

-

Connect connecting piece - 1 - at residual pressure valve - 2 -.

-

Mount wheel and tighten.
