Remove the control module housing bolt - arrow -and control housing.

Release the retaining tabs - 1 - and remove the Transmission Control Module (TCM) (J217) - 2 -.
Installation

Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal. note the following:

Check the identification of the new Transmission Control Module (TCM) (J217) to ensure it matches the old Transmission Control Module
(TCM) (J217).
