Supersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 91 number 09-27 dated March 26, 2009 for reasons listed below.
AFFECTED VEHICLES
CONDITION
^ Only vehicles equipped with 2G MMI are affected by this bulletin.
^ The customer may report the following when an iPod is connected to the Audi Music Interface (AMI):
^
In Mix (shuffle) mode: Very long response times occur with subsequent malfunctions when selecting the next track. Long response times may also
occur when pressing the Return hard key in this mode.
^
In Mix (shuffle) mode: The previous track is not played when Previous is selected in the CD control menu. Instead, another track will be played.
^
In Mix (shuffle) mode: If the first track in the play list was selected via the Previous button in the CD control menu (and not the rotary push
button), the track lists in the MMI and Driver Information System do not match (synchronization issue).
^
In Mix (shuffle) mode: The currently played track is not highlighted in white letters on the MMI display.
^
If a currently playing track is selected again via the rotary push button control, the audio drops out briefly.
^
The currently playing track is not color-highlighted in the MMI menu.
^
An audio book track continuously fast forwards if fast forward was selected in the first seconds of the track.
^
Device is being initialized. Please wait... is displayed when a Generation2 - iPod Nano is installed.
