Fluid Pressure Sensor/Switch: Service and Repair
Automatic Transmission Hydraulic Pressure Sensor 1 and Automatic Transmission Hydraulic Pressure Sensor 2
Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required
‹› Torque Wrench (V.A.G 1410)
‹› Sensor must always be replaced together.
Removing

Remove oil pan. Refer to => [ Oil Pan ] See: Automatic Transmission/Transaxle/Fluid Pan/Service and Repair.

Remove oil screen. Refer to => [ ATF Strainer ] See: Automatic Transmission/Transaxle/Fluid Filter - A/T/Service and Repair.

Carefully remove connectors for Automatic Transmission Hydraulic Pressure Sensor 1 (G193) - 1 - and Automatic Transmission Hydraulic
Pressure Sensor 2 (G194) - 2 -.

Remove both sensors.
Installing
‹› Sensors must always be replaced together.

Install 2 new sensors and fasten to 4.5 Nm.

Push connectors onto sensors - 1 - and - 2 - up to stop.
‹› Connectors must engage.

Install oil strainer. Refer to => [ ATF Strainer ] See: Automatic Transmission/Transaxle/Fluid Filter - A/T/Service and Repair.

Install oil pan. Refer to => [ Oil Pan ] See: Automatic Transmission/Transaxle/Fluid Pan/Service and Repair.

After installation, fill with ATF, check ATF level, and top off. Refer to => [ ATF, Draining or Filling after Repair ] See: Automatic
