Wiper Control Module: Procedures

Wiper Motor Control Module, Coding

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

Vehicle Diagnosis, Testing and Information System VAS 5051B

Procedure

-

If the wiper motor is replaced with the wiper motor control module J400, connect the vehicle diagnosis, testing and information system VAS
5051B with the ignition switched off.

NOTE:  If a malfunction indication is displayed.

Switch on ignition.

Display on VAS 5051B :

-

Tap the Geführte Funktionen button - item 4 - in the selection.

Display on VAS 5051B :

-

Enter vehicle identification number by selecting - A - and the appropriate text line - 1 -.

Vehicle Diagnostic, Testing and Information System VAS 5051B will then switch to the next selection level.
