Disconnect the connectors - 1 - and - 2 - from the rear view camera system control module - 3 -.

-

Remove rear view camera system control module - 3 - with bracket.

Bracket, Removing

The sides of the rear view camera system control module are bolted to the bracket.

-

Remove the mounting bolts - arrows - and the rear view camera system control module - 1 - from bracket the -  2 -.

Installing

-

Install the bracket first.

-

Installation of the rear view camera system control module is the reverse of removal.

Perform calibration, refer to => [ Rear View Camera System, Calibrating ] See: Testing and Inspection. 

Tightening Specifications, refer to => [ Rear View Camera System Overview ] See: Description and Operation/Description and Operation.

Rear View Camera

The Rear View Camera (R189) is installed in the center of the rear bumper cover between the license plate lamps.

-

Switch off all electrical consumers.

-

Remove the key.
