Front Bumper Reinforcement: Service and Repair
Impact Member Heat Shield

Impact Member Heat Shield

Removing

Proceed as follows:

-

Remove the bumper cover center section => [ Bumper Cover Center Section ] See: Front Bumper Cover / Fascia/Service and Repair/Bumper
Cover Center Section. 

-

Remove the rear bumper cover => [ Rear Bumper Cover ] See: Rear Bumper/Rear Bumper Cover / Fascia/Service and Repair/Rear Bumper Cover
.

-

Remove the nuts - arrows - and guide the heat shield -  4 - out of the threaded pins.

-

Remove bolts - 1 - and - 3 -.

-

Remove the impact member heat shield - 2 -.

Installing

‹› Tightening specifications => [ Impact Member Assembly Overview ] See: Impact Member Assembly Overview.

Installation is reverse of removal, but note the following:

Install the rear bumper cover => [ Rear Bumper Cover ] See: Rear Bumper/Rear Bumper Cover / Fascia/Service and Repair/Rear Bumper Cover.

Install the bumper cover center section => [ Bumper Cover Center Section ] See: Front Bumper Cover / Fascia/Service and Repair/Bumper Cover
Center Section.
