Front Bumper Reinforcement: Service and Repair
Impact Member Mount

Impact Member Mount

Removing

Proceed as follows:

-

Remove the bumper cover center section => [ Bumper Cover Center Section ] See: Front Bumper Cover / Fascia/Service and Repair/Bumper
Cover Center Section. 

-

Remove the rear bumper cover => [ Rear Bumper Cover ] See: Rear Bumper/Rear Bumper Cover / Fascia/Service and Repair/Rear Bumper Cover
.

-

Remove the side impact member => [ Impact Member ] See: Impact Member.

-

Remove the impact member bracket.

-

Remove bolts - arrows -.

-

Remove the impact member mount.

Installing

‹› Tightening specifications => [ Impact Member Assembly Overview ] See: Impact Member Assembly Overview.

Installation is reverse of removal, but note the following:

Install the impact member => [ Impact Member ] See: Impact Member.

Install the rear bumper cover => [ Rear Bumper Cover ] See: Rear Bumper/Rear Bumper Cover / Fascia/Service and Repair/Rear Bumper Cover.

Install the bumper cover center section => [ Bumper Cover Center Section ] See: Front Bumper Cover / Fascia/Service and Repair/Bumper Cover
Center Section.
