Cabin Ventilation Duct: Testing and Inspection

Passenger Compartment Forced Air Extraction, Checking

‹› A ventilation frame - A - is installed on both the left and right side near the sill panel (close to the B-pillar) for the forced air extraction.

‹› Forced air extraction vent frames - A - are removed and installing from the outside (with the sill panel trim).

Check the Passenger Compartment Trim Ventilation Openings:

Check the air duct - arrow - through the left and right ventilation opening in the rear shelf - A -.

‹› To ensure the passenger compartment is ventilated properly, the ventilation openings - arrow - built into the rear shelf must not be closed. 

‹› If the ventilation opening in the rear shelf - A - is closed or the air ducts to the vent frame are blocked, the windows can fog up.
