Hood Latch: Service and Repair
Front Lid Lock

Front Lid Lock

Removing

Proceed as follows:

-

Remove the luggage compartment liner.

-

Disconnect electrical harness connector - 1 -.

-

Remove bolts - arrows -.

-

Remove the front lid lock - 2 - down out of the lock carrier.

-

Disengage the front lid emergency release cable => [ Front Lid Emergency Release Cable and Cable Operating Lever Assembly Overview ] See:

Installing

‹› Tightening specifications => [ Front Lid Lock and Positioning Motor Assembly Overview ] See: Service and Repair/Front Lid Lock and

Positioning Motor Assembly Overview.

Installation is reverse of removal, but note the following:

Adjust the front lid => [ Front Lid, Adjusting ] See: Adjustments.
