Remove the steering column from the mounting bracket and place it in the driver footwell.

Remove the bolt - 1 - and remove the nut - 2 - on the bottom of the steering column mounting bracket.

Carefully pull the instrument panel back from the center tube.
‹› 2 technicians are needed to remove the instrument panel.

Remove the instrument panel from the vehicle interior and lay it on a soft surface.
